COMPENSATION & LOCATION

The salary range for this role is $55,000-$60,000.

This hybrid position based out of our Elk Gove Village, Illinois location requires working primarily working onsite with some flexibility to work from home. Travel to other locations may occur, although minimal.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Operations Trainer plays an essential role in fostering the growth and efficiency of our organization’s workforce. This entry level role delivers basic training modules using adult learning principles. Responsible for delivering training plans, this position ensures that employees are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties. The focus is on enhancing productivity, delivery of outstanding customer service, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, the Associate Operations Trainer facilitates remote and in-person training sessions. This role supports new employee onboarding and ongoing development of existing staff, contributing to the overall success and adaptability of the organization. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to the operational needs of the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Maintain training content with accuracy and relevance, including manuals, instructional videos, and online learning modules. 
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at all levels, utilizing a variety of training methodologies to accommodate different learning preferences. Provide refresher and remediation training as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure the successful application of learned skills and knowledge in daily operations. 
  • Manage the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, room setup, technology requirements, and participant communication, to ensure smooth execution. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TRAINING 
  • Illinois Pharmacy Technician License Required
  • 0-2 years’ experience facilitating group training of systems, concepts, processes, and/or procedures 
  • 0-2 years’ experience creating training presentation content using PowerPoint, Word or other common tools. 
  • 0-2 years’ experience applying adult learning principles and learning to adapt in a resilient manner to the needs of the participants and the business. 
  • 0-2 years’ experience demonstrating leadership skills: able to successfully manage learning groups and collaborate with their receiving leaders. 
  • 0-2 years’ experience tracking trainee progress and coordinating with the documentation specialist to ensure Orsini has complete and accurate training records. 
  • Positive interpersonal communication skills – able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels (verbal/written – writing and facilitation assignment during stage two interview) 
  • Able to effectively analyze, interpret, and resolve issues with trainee progress along the learning curve. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills: ability to change priorities quickly: detail oriented. 
  • Collaborates with other team members to find creative solutions to Orsini training needs. Takes and gives feedback in a pleasant and collegial manner. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc). 
Nice to Have's:
  • 2+ years’ experience demonstrating analytical skills and critical thinking with an aptitude for effective and creative problem-solving. 
  • 2+ years’ experience demonstrating highly honed customer service skills, call handling experience and/or retail pharmacy experience.
  • National Technician Certification.
